Globe-wandering studio whizkid Snad (Shyam Anand) shares three of his characteristically colorful jams for the second release on Tennessee-based label Island F.

All three tracks are anchored by dry and tight drumkit intros that lay the rails for steady-build minimal funk. 'Lights Out' layers atmospheric improvisation under staccato organ and vocal chops while title track 'Movement Effect' features lush, FX-splashed synth chord comping that refuses to sit still. Perhaps the cutest groove of the three, 'Grave Mobbin' features skippy drums that leave plenty of space in the mix for a menagerie of harmonious FM timbres.
